A Message from our CEO, Gwen Korebrits
To our Dance Health Alliance Community,
As you may already be aware, DHA has been monitoring COVID-19 (Coronavirus) through directives and advice from the Department of Health, Australian Government and Health Professionals. We have addressed the developments and concerns amongst our dancers, facilities and staff with an ongoing response and plan of action. We wish to reiterate what an integral part of our ethos and priority it is, ensuring the health of those within our community. Please note there are currently no reported cases amongst the Dance Health Alliance network, and our aim is to keep it that way.
The Board of Dance Health Alliance in association with our teachers and facilities have made the decision to postpone the majority of our classes effective immediately, until further notice. Our aim is to return to regular scheduling as soon as possible, however, we will only return to classes when we feel it is safe for all involved.
We are busily working behind the scenes to create online content for our Care Homes, Facilities and Independent Dancers. Our Epidemic/Pandemic Policy has been published and is available to view on our website and Facebook page.
We would encourage you to keep both your body and mind active during any periods of isolation you encounter. Continue reaching out to those around you, and please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
On behalf of DHA, I would like to thank you for your understanding and support, as we navigate this uncharted and challenging situation together. In the meantime, let’s look out for each other, abide by the government regulations, share our toilet paper and stay positive.
