Dance Health Alliance™ is a Not For Profit organisation facilitating innovative dance programmes designed to improve quality of life, help restore body/mind balance and combat ill health, focusing on people living with movement-restricting conditions, cognitive diseases, mental health and the elderly to regain freedom through movement. As pioneers in the field, we actively contribute to research and disseminate knowledge to advance the understanding and acceptance of dance as a therapeutic modality. We collaborate with community organisations, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to advocate for integrating dance into healthcare systems, promoting its recognition as an essential component of comprehensive wellness.
At Dance Health Alliance™, our mission is to harness the transformative power of dance to promote holistic well-being and improve the lives of individuals across diverse communities. We believe in the inherent healing qualities of movement and seek to bridge the gap between dance and healthcare, pioneering innovative programs and initiatives that integrate dance’s physical, mental, and emotional benefits into therapeutic practices.
At Dance Health Alliance™, our teachers embody unique skills, qualities, and values that align with our mission and vision. Our teachers strongly understand the connection between dance and overall well-being. They know dance has physical, mental, and emotional benefits and create a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their bodies, emotions, and personal expression through dance. Our teachers at Dance Health Alliance™ play a vital role in empowering individuals, fostering well-being, and creating meaningful connections through dance.
At Dance Health Alliance™ , our vision is a world where dance is embraced as a fundamental aspect of human well-being and where movement is celebrated as a means to cultivate joy, resilience, and connection. Through our unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and inclusivity, we strive to transform lives, empower individuals, and shape the future of the world of dance and health.
